Welcome to our St. Augustine’s Family Centre which has provided education and childcare for children from 2 years to 4 years since 2007 and now houses our Barnabee Room for Toddlers and Tobee Room for pre-schoolers, and a creche for family groups such as baby and toddler.

This nursery is only open during term times.
Term dates are in line with NCC term dates. The nursery is closed for:
- All bank holidays
- Three training days a year
- Between Christmas & New Year (exact dates to be confirmed at the beginning of the year).
About St. Augustines
Our St. Augustine’s nursery is led by Jess Spooner who started at our North Lynn centre in May 2011 and later became Centre Lead at St. Augustine’s. Jess continued her professional development and completed her BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies and Early Education in 2022. Jess leads a team of highly qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioners, and their main aim is to ensure that each child attending our centre receives the highest quality of care.

What We Offer

- Full Daycare: 2 to 4 years
- 2 year old funding: 15 hours per week (If eligible)
- 3/4 year old funding: 15 hours per week / 30 hours per week (If eligible)

Mr Bee’s Nursery is located within St. Augustine’s Centre North Lynn and parents access the nursery through a buzzer system from the main entrance.
Special Features
St. Augustine’s is walking distance to the town and the local park (the Walks), as well as Lynnsport. Children have access to a large outdoor play area which is intended for the nursery as well as the community gardens which house a social area, meadow, and wooded area where the children can build dens, visit the potting sheds, access the outdoor classroom, and explore the great outdoors in general.
